INTO THE WILD
5.45 am is early,. REALLY EARLY.
But it was worth to get up this early to go to the Yosemite national park.
At 6.45 I was picked up at my hotel and we had to drive 4 hours to the park (which is long..I may or may not have slept a bit). Best thing about the tour was that the busdriver kept saying “norse and saus” .. FLASHBACK. I loved it. He was a really good guide. from germany.. europeans ftwwwww!
anyway. We arrived at the park around 10.45 and we were dropped near the sequoia tree. NEAR the tree.. first we had to walk a few miles. which isn’t all that bad.. if it was a flat road. but no. we had to walk down a hill (not a problem) but also back UP.
It took me 15 minutes to get down and 25 to get back up haha.. not bad.. I IT WASN’T 90 DEGREES. and what for? A TREE in a fucking forest. So I got a bit cynical. (ik zag door de bomen tamara niet meer :”D) inside joke hehe). nah. it was alright. you do immediately notice the difference in height in your lungs :’). and our busdriver was really good at giving advice “DRINK WATER NOW. 1,5 liters at LEAST! IF YOUR BLOOD IS LIQUIDY IT IS BETTER”.. okay. never drunk so much water in my life :p
after that we got back on the bus to drive to the yosemite valley and waterfall. SO WORTH IT. it’s absolutely beautiful up there <3 and yes . I took 494829394842 pictures. but tumblr wont upload them :(( BWUUH.
this might be a good thing. this way you’ll actually see new photos when i get home :’)
I really had fun today. met a lot of nice people :) got a sunburn. saw trees..and trees. and trees. and water. and water and water. :’)
all worth it.
and on the way back we were rewarded by the driver because we had been so good all day hehe. so he took us to the other side of the bridge to see the fantastic view of the San Fran skyline while blasting his California appreciation CD featuring California dreamin’ , Californication, hotel california and of course “if you’re going to saaaan franciscoooo” :)

it better work tomorrow!
